In an effort to broaden our platform offering CarePICS is proud to introduce the Imagery Acquisition Module:
• The tool is a mobile application allowing an enterprise to integrate image capture and planimetric wound measurement into a web browser based EMR system via an API bridge.
• Camera function of the device is co-opted for use by the module and allows measurement of the wound within the launched browser via our proprietary algorithm.
• Clinical personnel do not have to perform dual data entry to acquire measurements and imagery into native EMR system.
• The one-time initiation and authorization process consists of the user downloading the acquisition module from the application store onto their devices.
• Users simply select a button within the EMR’s browser-based system to initiation the module automatically. An API bridge then links the retrieved data and imagery.
• Subsequent opening of the EMR provides an icon within the system allowing simple imagery acquisition and wound measurements.
• Users may view imagery in both their EMR and the CarePICS mobile or browser system.
